There are so many things I so dislike about this hobby, I think I will take a break from here.

I finally got a face on him I like after 3 attempts Y_Y I took these with my new Macro lens also, I love that lens! also after I sold my Kuuta I was "YO-less" as I really do love YO's only I need to find the right one for me, I have been eyeing Colin cos I love that little fish face and susulovel was kind enough to let me play with ers so I naturally gave him a new face and took some pics of him with Quill, 2 cute lil boys!

His name is Usher, I got him yesterday and I am going to mod him into an SA at some point but for now until I have time here he is, I luff him O_O Usher is my newest and last of my Dollshe collection.

Ever had a doll for awhile that you had every intention on selling and well......he sells? I just sold my little Wendall (Kuuta) O_O I honestly did not think he would sell since he was not one of the more popular YO's. I had him for awhile and he sat there while I painted him over and over again, last night I finally got him to where I was really happy with him and put him on DoA. He just now sold and I am a little sad :( I know I can get him again if I miss him too much and I'm sure this will go away but he was such a good sport....lol

So I have been doing a lot of thinking about my part in this hobby, my dolls and photography mostly and when Kristen was here we did a lot of doll talking and playing and oogling over other people's dolls and photography. Kristen said something to me that has stuck with me ever since, we were looking at someone's dolls and she mentioned how their dolls were all so "interesting". Then I started thinking how true that was and how important that was.

I then started thinking about my own dolls and wondered why I did not get the urge to photograph some of them and I think it is because they lack something "interesting". Sure they may be "pretty", decent face up and clothes but to me that is not really all that interesting and along the lines of boring. I think this is an exciting revelation and I really need to look into my own dolls and figure out a solution.

I don't want anymore boring pretty dolls but more interesting dolls. What makes a doll interesting? there are so many things and I need find out what that is and be more creative to and put forth this into my dolls and make it exciting for me again.

I really wish I could start this whole hobby all over again from the beginning as I would do it so differently but now I have said doll and have put work into said doll and gave said doll a name and have become somewhat attached it is too hard to let go Y_Y I really hate that and how I get attached to inanimate objects.

Just felt like taking pics of her as I find her somewhat interesting, doesn't help me to get her ready to sell -_-

So kittymaru was here for the weekend and we went to a few places and took dollie pics! I had a great time and we had such a beautiful weather! a little too crowded as EVERYBODY was out and about but it was so much fun! here are some pics of my Eddie hanging out with her Martel, not the greatest pics but better than the last time I went...lol I'm sure kittymaru got some good ones on her camera but I will have to wait until she gets home ^_~ I have a few more pics of other outings I will be posting at a later time, these pics are of Stinson Beach. I wanted to see if I could get away with making a blond Sabik as they really do scream dark and I also did not want him to look like Heat. I know for sure I am going to either sell or auction this head as I have had a couple of people ask me about it, I am just un-decided as to which I want to do but I really need money Y_Y I think he looks good as a blond, I hope others will think so to.

The wig was made for me by the very sweet For eclipse21 , I so love these wigs O_O thank you so much!

So I have one last commission to go O_____O what a long road that was to travel but I am looking forward to my break during which I will be working on some projects! I also have 2 un-expected in-coming dolls and need money...lol my Michele and I just landed a WS Dollshe Husky (Thank you Marilyn!) I may paint him up and see if I can trade for an SA and if nobody is game than I will mod his eyes to be SA.

For susulove He is fashioned after a Grey wolf, I think with the right eyes (wolf/cat eyes)and wig he would look more "wolf" like. I used my favorite black wig on him cos I thought it looked good even though he looks more like a Vampire....lol oh well, it was too hard to take pics of his full body and he would not stand too well O_O Anyways, I hope you like him ^_^ I will take pics of the human Chrom next.

So I took a bunch of pics of her outside and in, my computer crashed and I lost the indoor ones :( I was so bummed, there was some really cool ones as the sun was going down casting some cool shadows, sooooo bummed >____< anyways, these are just a few that did not get lost. I know she is wearing the Val dress I already dis a shoot in but 20's apparel for BJD's are not easy to come by >_<

So there are a couple of dolls that I have secretly longed for that I thought I would never own so I admired them from afar, one being Michele. There was one on YJ and I bidded last night before going to bed thinking what was the harm, there was already another bid and I thought for sure I would get outbidded. The auction also ended in the wee hours of the morning and no doll in the planet is going to make me get up on my day off.

Well I woke up and won O_O $1200.00 for a full set in mint condition! I am crazy, I am trying to slim down my collection -_- oh well, I know he is a very odd mold and perhaps that is why I am drawn to him cos when i first saw him I thought he was the ugliest doll i had ever seen and could not figure out why people liked him....lol then I saw some repaints *sighs* so lovely this little boy!

So I wanted to paint a Roda and I found one on DoA, after the deal was made I saw the pic and she was a "Dreaming Roda"....lol I am so lame >_< anyways, I decided to do her up 20's style ala Mary Pickford as her face was perfect for it!

Yes she is wearing Bronte's outfit but it was so appropiate! I am more than likely going to put her head up on eBay at some point but I wanted to have some fun first!
